RUNNING TIME:  124 Mins

THE GOOD:  Noomi Rapace (THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS) and Michael Fassbender (SHAME, HUNGER, A DANGEROUS METHOD and CENTURION) shine brightly. Their performances alone are enough reason to see this lackluster film.

THE BAD:  You will leave the movie theater severely disappointed; especially if you came to see an action film.  Believe it or not, there is no action for the entire first hour of the film.   

Yes, we were so wrong!

And if that wasn’t bad enough, Ridley Scott’s eagerly awaited return to the ALIEN franchise quickly descends into a tired rehash of everything that we have seen before.

Unfortunately, his invitation is not worth accepting.

THE UGLY:  An unrecognizable Guy Pearce…
