HUMP DAY MIX - 2/15/12

HUMP DAY MIX - 2/15/12

What a busy week for making a playlist! I wasn't sure if I would have the energy to do a third mix after having done two massive ones - Grammy's 2012 mix and a very special Valentine's Day Mix. However, this week's Hump Day Mix really started with the release of Katy Perry's single "Part of Me" which lead to new songs from Nicki Minaj, Usher and Jessie and The Toy Boys. I would say that half of the mix is what's just released on the radio and the other half are mostly indie songs that need to be highlighted. I am really loving this British electro-pop band Visitor right now. Even though their song "Los Feeling" came out about a year ago, I'm glad I came across it. Who knows, they might end up being my Monday Music Earworm artist. The other big highlight is the resurgence of this great Whitney Houston/Robyn mashup. It's REALLY REALLY good. Give it a listen!
