THIRSTY THURSDAYS WITH WILDLIFE CONTROL
We are raising our glass to today's Thirsty Thursday artist, Wildlife Control. They are an indie rock band out of Brooklyn and San Francisco. Their single "Analog or Digital" caught my ear last week and of course I had to add them to our weekly Hump Day Mix. The song has one of those catchy hooks where you find yourself humming to the tune, tapping your pen on the desk and singing "analog or digital" because you don't really know the rest of the lyrics just yet. Be sure to check out the music video for it as well. They described it as "a brand new kind of music video for it that's not really a video at all. It's more like a dynamic animation that uses modern web standards like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and the SoundCloud API to throw a party in your browser." Sounds techie cool to us! And did you say party? DONE! It's actually pretty cool because your comments appear in the video. Mind = Blown. Here's a screenshot of what we're talking about. If you look closely you can see someone left a comment saying "awesome video and good tune." All very true, by the way. C'mon, what are you waiting for!
