[NEW MUSIC] GORGON CITY FT. LIV - NO MORE

[NEW MUSIC] GORGON CITY FT. LIV - NO MORE

Normally I would have waited to post about this in the Thirsty Thursday article but it's so good it had to be posted now. While doing research for this week's Hump Day Mix, I came across "No More" by Gorgon City ft. Liv and have been OBSESSSSSSSSSSSSSSED with it! Gorgon City are North London producers Matt & Kye. Their long-standing love of jungle, house, grime, hip-hop and garage music have had major influences on their unique yet party-minded sound. We can see why "No More" was part of the ‘Hot 10 for 2014’ Shortlist on BBC 1Xtra. It has been on repeat for more than I can count. While the only version that's out right now is the live radio rip from BBC Radio 1Xtra and it's still pretty much amazing, I can only imagine what the album version will sound like. At least their forthcoming album due later this year. The song also features the vocals from Liv Redmond aka Livsongs who makes the song go from this smooth jungle beat to a roaring tiger moving through lush jungle beats. Alright guys, just release this track already. Until you do, I'll be "forced" to listen to the rest of the other great tracks from your SoundCloud.

The beginning of "Real" ft. Yasmin had a hint of Kylie Minogue's "In Your Eyes." Kylie! Call up these guys to produce your next record. I think your voice combined with their musical genius will be ear orgasm.

[NEW MUSIC] MONDAY MUSIC EARWORM WITH SHAKIRA AND RIHANNA

[NEW MUSIC] MONDAY MUSIC EARWORM WITH SHAKIRA AND RIHANNA

Today's #MusicMonday is the premiere of Shakira's new single "Can't Remember To Forget You" featuring Rihanna! The song serves as the lead single from Shakira's eighth studio album set to be released on March 25 through Roc Nation. Writing credits on the track include Erik Hassle, John Hill, Kid Harpoon, and Daniel Ledinsky. The track is in typical Shakira pop-rock sound with a cool mellow vibe for Rihanna. I think the song will have strong commercial success as it screams mainstream massive radio play. Hear it for yourself!
