[INTRODUCING] THIRSTY THURSDAYS WITH THE COLOURIST

[INTRODUCING] THIRSTY THURSDAYS WITH THE COLOURIST

Raise your PBRs to this week's Thirsty Thursday band, The Colourist! The 4-piece indie rock band from Costa Mesa, CA is comprised of Adam Castilla, Maya Tuttle, Justin Wagner and Kollin Johannsen. Their latest song "Little Games" caught my ear and was featured in yesterday's Hump Day Mix. I really enjoy their fun danceable rock music energy. The band is currently set to go on tour with Metric (another awesome indie rock band) starting on April 10 in Scottsdale, AZ and ending on May 15 in Washington, DC. They are set to play at this year's Coachella on April 13 and April 20. If you already have tickets, then you're going to be in for a nice treat!

[LISTEN] HUMP DAY MIX - 3/20/13

[LISTEN] HUMP DAY MIX - 3/20/13

We're back for an all new edition of the Hump Day Mix. As you remember, I took last week off to release the Spring Break 2013 mixes. When you take a week off, you have a lot more songs to listen to. You'll notice that this week's HDM is back to having 20 songs from the usual 15. This compilation has Top 40 songs from Will.I.Am ft. Justin Bieber, Paramore, Matt Nathanson and The Strokes. There are so many songs that I know I'm already going to be obsessed with from Beldina, Astronauts etc., The Colourist, and Fear Club. Which tracks will you get obsessed with?

[NEW ALBUM] TUESDAY TUNES DAY WITH THE STROKES

[NEW ALBUM] TUESDAY TUNES DAY WITH THE STROKES

The Strokes are back with a much anticipated new album, Comedown Machine, dropping next week through RCA. We are including one of the their songs "Tap Out" in tomorrow's Hump Day Mix. I have to say, this particular song is a bit different from the heavy guitar riffs we're used to from The Strokes. The song has an 80s synth vibe that I am loving. Check out the song and stream the entire album on Pitchfork!

Tracklist:

Tap Out
All The Time
One Way Trigger
Welcome To Japan
80's Comedown Machine
50 50
Slow Animals
Partners In Crime
Chances
Happy Ending
Call It Fate Call It Karma
