FEVAMODE LIVE @ THE ROXY 2/21/13

FEVAMODE LIVE @ THE ROXY 2/21/13

Electro-pop rock band Fevamode had an incredible performance at L.A.'s premier historic venue, The Roxy, on Thursday, February 21. Front man, Casey Sullivan, came on stage with so much energy and excitement that it got the eagerly anticipated crowd even more amped up. With Chris Ring on guitar and Michael Sullivan on drums, Fevamode was really to bring The Roxy house down! The band wasted no time and went right into their first song "All Wrapped Up" from their set list. We wouldn't mind wrapping ourselves up with any of these guys. Through out the whole show, Casey gave the audience quite a show going from one side of the stage to the other and looking at all the lovely ladies in the crowd right in their eyes. Chris worked the stage with his mad guitar riffs and Mkey (sugar) banged the hell out of those drums. It certainly didn't hurt that he was quite adoreable doing so. What is it with me and drummers?!? Right? The band even had a special appearance by the Fevamode Bear who stormed the stage and made all the plushies' fantasies come true. Check out this video of Fevamode giving the crowd their all!

Complete set list include

All Wrapped Up
Crazy Tonight
I Couldn't Tell
Love Radio
You Make Me Sick
T.F.G. (Too F**kin' Good)

[INTRODUCING] THIRSTY THURSDAYS WITH THE OCEAN BLUE

[INTRODUCING] THIRSTY THURSDAYS WITH THE OCEAN BLUE

Raise your PBR to this week's Thirsty Thursday band, The Ocean Blue! For some of you who are in the know, then you know that this Pennsylvania-based band has been around since the late 80's. The group has gone through several line up and record label changes but one thing remains the same, their awesome new wave inspired sound. Currently, the band is comprised of Dave Schelzel (1986-Present), Bobby Mittan (1986-Present), Oed Ronne (1993-Present) and Peter Anderson (2000-Present). I included their new single "Sad Night, Where Is Morning?" in yesterday's Hump Day Mix which is off of their brand new album "Ultramarine" out on March 19. I can see myself totally being obsessed with this song. The Ocean Blue lists New Order, The Smiths and R.E.M. as their influences and rightfully so. Be sure to check out the song and check out YouTube for their earlier music videos.
