[WATCH] SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE - SEASON 9 - SALT LAKE CITY AUDITIONS

[WATCH] SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE - SEASON 9 - SALT LAKE CITY AUDITIONS

Salt Lake City was the last stop on the So You Think You Can Dance audition hot tamale train. We saw a lot of talented dancers from ballroom to contemporary to hip hop and even krump. First up was ballroom dancer Witney Carson. She may look like a little girl (esp. with her braces) but she definitely does not dance like one. As soon as she hits the stage, she transforms into a little ballroom vixen. I think she's probably my favorite ballroom audition of this season. Next up is contemporary dancer Dareian Kujawa. His struggles growing up in an impoverish environment only fueled his desire to be a great dancer and it showed during his audition. Our honorable mention goes to Mariah Spears, a blonde girl krumper. Yes, that's right, she's white and can krump. Mariah blew the judges away with her krumping intensity. She kind of reminds me of my girl Melissa "M. Go-hard" Goodman who I know can do this routine too. Be sure to check out our favorite Salt Lake City auditions below! Don't forget to tune into tonight as the dancers head to Vegas. So You Think You Can Dance on Fox 8/7C.
